Rhys Ruddock
Well, Leinster cruelly exposed my lack of knowledge of rugby with a fantastic bonus point win away over Glasgow - when I said they'd be aiming for a losing bonus point. Glasgow looked fearsome in the PRO14 and took Exeter right to the wire last weekend. While they started brightly on Satuirday, Leinster quickly got the ascendancy, with Cian Healy bound to be to be challenging for the Irish no one spot in that form. Sexton ran the game with a calm assurance, and his own try was none to shabby. Rhys Ruddock puts in a mountain of work in the backgrpound, and Noel Reid, while he still has some defensive issues to address, took his try superbly. Job done, 10/10 start!
Munster played out and epic arm wrestle against Racing at Thomond Park, I can't remember the last time I watched a match with no score at 60 minutes! It took the brilliance of Conor Murray to break the deadlock, and Munster got another try shortly after. Racing got one back , but 6 points from two games for Munster puts them in a tidy position.
Connacht made it two from two with a hard fought win over Worcester. Fianlly Ulster were very competitive in the first half against La Rochelle, but fell away badly in teh second to get well beaten in the second. John Cooney tried his best when he had tocome on at ten, but he just doesn't have the experience in that position.
