James Hart
With the 6 Nations taking a break this weekend, the attention turns back to the PRO12. There’s not a lot of matches left in the season, so it’s time to get your a into g and nail down a top four spot, or even better a top 2 spot.
Leinster will have their work cut out this weekend as they welcome the Scarlets to the RDS. That’s because the Scarlets were full value for their defeat of Munster away last weekend, they look like the form team at the moment. Leinster themselves however, looked none too shabby demolishing the Dragons away last weekend, at a venue where they’ve struggled in the past. Leinster seem to have depth off the scale right now and having Isa Nacewa is the cherry on the cake – to steal a line off Connor Murray, with Carberry, O’Lauglin, and the two Bernes, it’s like daddy day care back there! I kind of think we’ll have too much for the Scarlets as long as our pack shows up. But we are going to have to dig deep, and play for 80 minutes.
Interesting news to hear the Scott Fardy should be on his way to Leinster to play as a lock. He’ll provide the physical edge that we lack sometimes, and he has bags of experience.
Connacht and Ulster will be getting bonus points wins off Zebre and Treviso like taking sweets off a baby.
Finally, Munster have a slightly tricky away match at the Cardiff Blues. They get hit hard losing the immense talents of Murray and Stander, but new signings like James Hart will help a lot there, the team is only going to mature and get better. I think they'll bounce back with a win.
