I'm aiming to battle through a Champions Cup marathon this weekend!

Joey Carbery

Another feast of rugby ahead this weekend, as the Champions Cup returns! I'm planning to battle though at least 6!

It starts off in Northampton with the visit of Leinster. The Saints have been having a tough enough time of it lately, results not going their way and concern over how they been treating George North last weekend. They are 9th in the premiership, so they are going to have to do a lot of work if they want ot play Champions Cup rugby next year. Their best players are Courtney Lawes and Louis Picamole.

We have picked a really good looking side, stuffed full of Irish internationals. We don't really seem to have a lock back up, but apart from that it's quality all over the place, and I think we'll win this, even away. I'm looking forward to seen what Joey Carbery does.

There are challenging matches ahead for all the Irish provinces, let's hope last weekend's form continues. Ulster have Clermont, which is going to be a serious, serious test for them. I think they'll be lucky to win really. Munster should account for the Tigers in the form they are in. And Connacht have an incredibly difficult match at Wasps, especially in the wake of the news of the departure of Pat Lam.
