Ireland's excellent form in the Autumn internationals has trickled down to the provinces, with a clean sweep this weekend. Great preparation for the Champions Cup!
Munster got a good win against Glasgow - but they made their fans sweat, scraping home in the end with a drop goal in the last few minutes. I don't know why they didn't hang on to the ball in the second half, it served them well in the first. Their defense is epic though, and a win is a win.
Connacht absolutely hammered Treviso.
Ulster showed a lot better form than they've been coming up with lately, even without Paddy Jackson. Ruan Pienaar was in unbelievable form, showing his experience and pulling the strings perfectly.
Finally, Leinster did just what they needed to get a bonus point out of Dragons, four tries, then shut the game down. Well, actually let the Dragons have two tries, but the result was never in doubt after the first half. joey Carbery is worth a mint Leinster, he gives them shape, go forward, and adds the excitement factor that's been missing for far too long. The spark went out of the match when he was withdrawn. Even when we field a B team there is just quality all over the place though - Dooley, Lougman, Conan, O'Loughlin. Rugby in Ireland is just pumping at the moment!
