Gary Ringose
I didn't manage to blog last weekend, which was a pity with two huge games. I thought Munster might struggle with Saracens, especially without Conor Murray. Saracens are like an anaconda - you can stay out of their way for 60 minutes, but in the last 20 minutes they flex those coils and squeeze the life out of you.
On the hand, I thought Leinster would beat Clermont - Clermont were not that impressive in their win over Toulon. If it hadn't been for that disastrous start, if a few of Strauss's throws had stuck, if we'd woken the feck up in the first 15 minutes...if if if. Anyway, lots of experience under the belt for the young guys, and we've shown what we can do when we really play. Ringrose is a gem!
This weekend, Leinster have Glasgow at home. Nothing to play for really, so the team's quite light, but the style we've been playing this season should make it entertaining. and we have cavalry on the bench if that's needed. It's going to be sad to be seeing Mike Ross run out for the last time at the RDS, he's been a big part of Leinster's success in his time there. Zane Kirchner is also on his way, he's played more of a supporting role.
Ulster have a massive away game at the Ospreys, needing a win to make to the top 4, probably a big win too. The way the Ospreys have been playing though, nothings impossible. Munster could go top with their trip to Treviso. Finally, Connacht have named an experimental enough side for the Scarlets - they're going to have to paly really well to win that one.
