Stuart Lancaster
Leinster's second appointment of the season is a trip to Glasgow. Based on Leinster's performance against Treviso, and Glasgow's against Connacht, this weekend for Leinster is going to be...character building. Of course, we don't know what team Leinster will put out, but potentially they will crack out a few more internationals than was originally the plan for week 2. We could win, but probably won't. Our big news this week was the appointment of Stuart Lancaster, which is the best news we've had a while. The jury is still out on Leo Cullen as a coach, but the whole coaching team has had two problems since his appointment. One is experience - no one had been a head coach before. Then they've all played for Leinster - that's too inward looking, how are you ever going to change anything, where are the new ideas coming from? Lancaster did a decent job with England, and has bags of experience in a horrendously tough job.
Munster have Welsh opposition again with the visit of the Blues, and should get the same result as last week. Ulster will need to keep their wits about them but should sort out Treviso. Finally, Connacht have the Opreys coming to town. It's not getting any easier is it? Probably another loss I'm afraid.
In the Rugby Championship, I'd expect the All Blacks to be comfortable against Argentina. I think the other match is going to mark a further step down for either Australia or South Africa. This is third against fourth I reckon, and could go either way.
